Facing problem while opening Microsoft Outlook 2007 need Free Outlook 2007 repair software ?
I basically don’t know what happened earlier but today when I opened outlook and while as I was checking mails, the screen took somewhat unusual appearance and soon outlook 2007 was closed with repeated prompts saying it has to close.
Now on attempting to open Outlook an error message was shown that said “cannot start Microsoft office Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The file C:\\documents and settings\\owner\\local settings\\application data\\outlook\\outlook.pst is not a personal folder file”. So can anyone tell me how to solve the problem, everything fails to work even repairing the settings on my computer for Outlook repair do not work? I need free Outlook 2007 repair software, is there any.
The very obvious reason for such an error is corruption of the PST file you are trying to access and fixing this at times is possible with inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe), provided as a default tool with Microsoft Outlook.
But as you have already tried to repair Outlook from control panel- program fix/repair, using scanpst.exe may not be worth as it is not very efficient in repairing all sorts of corruption. One of the feasible option here is to use Outlook 2007 repair software which is also available as a free download. With which it\'s powerful scanning and data extracting ability will fix the problems after its application on the damaged outlook.pst file and will also save the PST file data into a new usable PST file. After that you can open Outlook and access the PST file normally.
